The All-Music Guide review of Let The Night Fall is a positive one. It even leads with a warning shot at Sufjan Stevens. They said it so I don’t have to.

This review of my courthouse show on the JC Independent features a sensational shot of my big nose. There’s also some youtubic footage of me playing “The Ballad Of You And Me And Bret Schundler”. I only make about forty mistakes.

All of this is nice press.  If it was nasty press, I’d let you read that, too, because pans are funny.  But so far, reactions to the album have been positive:

Jim Testa’s Jersey Beat review was reprinted in the Huffington Post.  My friends across the river are very impressed by this, because the Huffington Post is a powerful weblog.  They seem to be working wonders for Martha Coakley.

J.R. Taylor listed Let The Night Fall among the best albums of ‘09, and wrote that it was my first release in a decade without a strong rap influence.  True or not true?  Amusingly, all of J.R.’s favorites this year are filed under ‘M’.

I spoke at length to Diana Schwaeble at the Hudson Reporter about my pain, and my paino.  I didn’t say anything about Maino.
